Hey ! Hi everyone, you can call my Rope, I’m a 31 years old simmer from the south of France. On this simblr, I share houses and community lots, and also some sims (families or townies). I used to create custom content (clothes for male Sims mostly),but I don’t do that anymore (as I play without CC).

If you want to download my creations, have a look at this page.

Sims 4 - Résidence Tuiles Vertes

I needed a lot that wasn’t too big to test the For Rent package, so I built this tiny residence for Tomarang. These three apartments are really small (but at least they’re well decorated!), and don’t include a bathroom (but there is a shared bathroom).

I’m not sure I’ll be building anything else for this world, at least for the time being, I’ve already got a lot to do to finish renovating the other worlds!

I’m aware that there are some problems in-game when you install a Residential Rental lot, with the lot and unit names. If you encounter this issue, don’t hesitate to click on “Me too” here on support forum.

Location: Tomarang (Morensong), Chee-wít Chee-waa Kanto.

Info: Residential Rental, 15x20, 3 Units (With only one bed, without bathrooms).

Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot.

Sims 4 - Idéal Accessible

A long time ago, I built a fake apartment building in a fake Japanese neighborhood I had created in Windenburg. Over the years, I’ve regularly made changes to this lot, but today, at last, it’s perfectly functional!

This building contains four units, one of them for a single sims or a couple, the other three perfect for small families. And if you need more space to organize a small get-together with your neighbors, the rooftop is the ideal place for this!

I’m aware that there are some problems in-game when you install a Residential Rental lot, with the lot and unit names. If you encounter this issue, don’t hesitate to click on “Me too” here on support forum.

Location: Mt. Komorebi (Senbamachi), 5-3-1 Shinrinyoku.

Info: Residential Rental, 30x20, 4 Units (one with only one bedroom, three with two bedrooms).

Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot.

Sims 4 - Comptoir des Travailleurs

This bar was previously attached to an apartment building that I decided to make functional (I’ll share it with you soon!), so I moved it onto a separate lot.

It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day at work, or just to meet up with friends for a good time!

Location: Mt. Komorebi (Senbamachi), Hanamigawa Koen.

Info: Bar, 20x30.

Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot.

Thank you to the EA Creator Network for providing the kits!

It’s time for a quick review of the last two kits!

I don’t have much to say about the Poolside Splash kit, I guess it’s nice to have more swimwear options, and most of the items look good (except for the sunglasses maybe, but I have an issue with glasses in general in this game, the proportions and placement always feel a bit off). I don’t use pools a lot personally, so if it’s the same for you, this kit is clearly not essential.

Now, about the Modern Luxe kit. This kit includes some very basic elements that I could see myself using everywhere, like these perfect modular curtains, the small record player, or the cushion that can be used on sofas with moveobjects (I’ve tested a bit, the sofas remain functional). But because they’re part of a kit with a very specific style, they have a very limited selection of swatches. I’m talking about the curtain, for example: if I don’t want a gold curtain rod, I only have… 3 swatches available. That’s why I’m a little frustrated that they’ve included them here, and not in a patch, or in a larger pack with a more basic style. Hopefully we’ll get more of these at some point, with more color options. Speaking of styling, although it’s not really my thing (but that’s only a matter of personal taste), everything looks great (but once again, I wish there was more color options, without the gold), but the items from the Vintage Glamour SP and the Get Famous EP have a similar vibe. At last, these new items look much better proportioned, and I can see myself using most of the decorative items.

And that’s all for me!

Townies - Pack H (for Horses)

Are you a young adult who just moved to Chestnut Ridge and are looking for love? I’m here to help!

When I started playing in the world added by the Horse Ranch Pack, I noticed that there weren’t really any sims available to date. These 8 single sims already have some nice outfits (three in the everyday category), skills, likes and dislikes, additional traits, lifestyles and more! And I’ve also created a horse (with skills) for each of them.

And as they have a horse, they’re more likely to appear at Chestnut Ridge with their mounts! I’ve split these sims into two households because it was more practical to share them, but if you want to see them riding their own horse (and not a random horse in their household), I encourage you to split these households, leaving each sim with just their horse.

Feel free to imagine your own stories with these sims (and their horses)!

If you don’t have any inspiration, look at all the info in the Simology panel, or at their skills, it might give you some ideas! But if you don’t want to play with them, and just want to have new townies to meet in the street or on community lot, you can simply install them on an empty lot and then evict them immediately.

Thank you to the EA Creator Network for providing the pack!

So. As you can see, I played with the Horse Ranch EP a bit.

My opinion is pretty similar to most people’s (and pretty similar to my opinion of most packs over the last few years): yes, it’s pretty, but it’s a bit empty in terms of gameplay. For me, there are too few new features, too many things takes place in rabbit holes, and apart from animals and nectar making, there are hardly any items with new interactions. In just a few hours of play, I already feel like I’ve seen everything the pack has to offer.

And yes, obviously, the new objects look good (with great wood textures), Chestnut Ridge is really detailed (but so lifeless, the town centre with all those fake buildings feels like a ghost town), and the interactions with the animals are cute… but is that enough?

I can’t say I didn’t have fun during the short time I tested the Horse Ranch pack in live mode with Rayane, or when I created the builds I shared with you these last few days. And I know that the people who worked on this pack did their best with the resources they had to deliver a great experience (I’d never question that). But at the end, I clearly can’t recommend buying it at full price.

Voilà, that’s all for me. I also feels like I need to take a little break now, so I may be a bit quiet for a while (I may share some sims before leaving, but I’m not sure yet!). Anyway, have fun everyone!

Sims 4 - Au Dada Dansant

When I saw this barn built by ChrissieYT in the town centre of Chestnut Ridge, I thought I’d like to keep it in my save, but with a few changes.

As I didn’t plan to use this part of the world (it looks like a ghost town, I hate all those fake buildings), I moved this dance hall elsewhere, and… added way too many decor items and clutters! I’ve also included many types of games, so your sims should have plenty of fun!

Location: Chestnut Ridge (Riders’ Glen), Biscuit’s Bastion.

Info: Nightclub, 30x40.

Sims 4 - Au Cœur des Vignes

Yes, as you can see, I’ve already completely given up on the idea of creating ranch houses!

This lot is also one of my old Henford-on-Bagley builds, which I’ve decided to move here. I’ve added a small outbuilding, with all the stuff you need to make nectar and store it.

Location: Chestnut Ridge (Riders’ Glen), Grapevine Terrace.

Info: Residential, 30x20, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom.

Sims 4 - Charmant Cottage

Yes, I know, it’s not really a new house!

But as I don’t intend to continue my renovation of Henford-on-Bagley, I’ve decided to move the lots built there to Chestnut Ridge! I haven’t made many changes inside, but I have added a small stable if you want to adopt a horse.

Oh and by the way, I also updated some other lots I shared recently with new ceilings, when it was necessary!

Location: Chestnut Ridge (Riders’ Glen), Canter Cottage.

Info: Residential, 30x30, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom.

Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot.

Sims 4 - Ranch Rocailleux

Thank you to the EA Creator Network for providing the pack!

I think it’s become a tradition for me, when a new pack is released, to create a little house that’s ideal for testing out the new gameplay, but also the new stuff in the buy/build mode. And as a builder, I’m delighted!

Also…. the ceilings! I have so many lots to edit now, including some I shared recently. But it really does make a difference!

I still don’t know if I’ll build much in this world, I still have a lot to do in the others. Maybe I’ll move some of the houses I’ve created for Henford-on-Bagley, we’ll see.

In the meantime, have fun in this house!

Location: Chestnut Ridge (Riders’ Glen), Sweet Nectar Glade.

Info: Residential, 30x20, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

Sims 4 - Rêve Abordable

Another old lot that I moved and renovated! Since I already had other two-bedroom lots in this area of Mt. Komorebi, I added a second floor and a third bedroom. Now it’s the ideal home for a small family!

Location: Mt. Komorebi (Wakaba), 2-4-2 Wakabamori.

Info: Residential, 30x20, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot.

Sims 4 - Clinique du Sequoia

Yep, it’s not really a new lot, it’s a renovation of my old veterinary clinic. The one I’ve already moved four or five times to different locations! I took advantage of the extra space on this lot to add a pet obstacle course, something I’d never used before.

I don’t have much more to say about this build, I hope you will enjoy it!

Location: San Sequoia (Gilbert Gardens), 18 Celebration Way.

Info: Vet clinic, 20x40.

Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot.

Sims 4 - Tanière de l'Écrivain

Sometimes, as I try to renovate my old lots, I realize that they really don’t fit the family I originally built them for anymore, and that I need to create a home for them from scratch. Such was the case with the Messard house.

If you’re looking for a large family home, with a large garden and room for lots of activities, this is the build for you!

Location: Willow Creek (Courtyard Lane), Brook Bungalow.

Info: Residential, 30x40, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot.

Sims 4 - Masure Colorée

Sorry I disappeared like that all of a sudden, I was too busy wandering around Hyrule! But I somehow managed to finish this house!

I built it for the Langlois, a family I added to my third family pack when I updated all my sims last time. It was the last household without a home, now they finally have a place to live! I have one last house project in progress (for another family who already has a house I no longer like), before resuming my renovations of old lots.

But that won’t happen right away, I still have a lot of things to do in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!

Location: San Sequoia (Gilbert Gardens), Parkside Place.

Info: Residential, 30x20, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot.

Thank you to the EA Creator Network for providing the kits!

It’s time for a review of the last two kits ! Quick reminder, I still think that considering the price of an EP or a GP, they could include more content, rather than releasing kits on the side.

But I was very pleasantly surprised by the Grunge Revival kit : almost all of the items look good on both frames, the color options are interesting and fun (and some can be used for more basic looks) … I think I will use these clothes and accessories a lot!

I’m a bit less enthusiastic about the Book Nook kit. It includes some nice items, but I’m a bit disappointed by the limited color options for some of them (the sofa for exemple, only 7 swatches, and I don’t like the look of most of them). Also, almost none of the decor items are functional (most of them could have worked the same way as the bookends), and the textures of the frames are blurry (they look okay if scaled down twice). These are only minor issues… but still.

Ultimately, while these kits include some interesting content, they are by no means indispensable. And… that’s all for me!
